The Amanda Foundation's Annual Halloween-themed fundraiser was presented by Bow Wow Beverly Hill last Sunday October 25th at 2 Rodeo Drive .

Tina Sinatra (daughter of Frank Sinatra and Nancy Barbato) got this year's Amanda Foundation's "Worthy of Love" Award in recognition of her long time support of The Amanda Foundation's mission to rescue homeless dogs and cats. She is an actress and producer, known for The Manchurian Candidate (2004), Perlico - Perlaco (1971) and Dream Girl of '67 (1966).
Tina confessed she was once allergic to dogs but overcame it with help from the Amanda Foundation, and she has been a dog-owner ever since.

2015's theme was "Vintage Las Vegas" in honor of animal advocate, Tina Sinatra, who recently donated a generous one million dollars that was desperately needed to improve and expand the foundation's services. Previous award recipients include Kaley Cuoco, Pauley Perrette, and Cesar Milan.
The night's highlights included Casino Night (roulette, craps and blackjack), delicious vegetarian cuisine by Crossroads Restaurant, and a special Halloween cocktail, the "Tina-tini".
Silent auction items included a Chopard gold collar designed for “The Artist” dog Uggie for the 2012 Academy Awards, paintings donated by Tina Sinatra, Tiffany & Co donated necklace, an African Safari, and gift certificates to the hottest L.A. restaurants including Connie & Teds and Craig's. The evening concluded with the annual doggy costume contest.

The Amanda Foundation established 1976 has rescued and placed thousands of dogs and cats into loving homes and is the ONLY non-profit animal charity in the city of Beverly Hills and the only one in Los Angeles to own and operate a full-service veterinary practice.

The Amanda Foundation also runs California's most successful free mobile spay and neuter program, and next free event to spray and neuter will be November 1st in east Los Angeles.

Tina Sinatra's generous donation helped The Amanda Foundation purchase the land their 90 year-old building rests on - almost 40 years after their inception.

Once The Amanda Foundation finally owns their property, their new fundraising goals include building a new state-of-the-art animal hospital and kennel for the animals they rescue and the under-served clients they assist on a daily basis.
The building they will call home was constructed in 1924 out of stucco and wood, and has seen better days. The new building and equipment will sustain the foundation and allow them to expand their Spay-mobile program and increase their educational programs and improve the living conditions for the dogs and cats they house, which also will increase adoptions.
